Role Overview First Officer flying Endeavor Air aircraft on Delta Connection services, conducting safe and efficient flights and maintaining the currency and professional standards required by the company and the FAA. Key Responsibilities Maintain a high level of knowledge of company policy and manuals, FAA regulations, Operations Specifications and other technical data appropriate to aircraft operations Maintain currency requirements with regard to medical, training and hourly flight requirements Use superior judgement to conduct safe and efficient flights in company aircraft Maintain a high level of personal decorum, professional conduct and personal appearance Maintain awareness of crew legality requirements and communicate promptly with the Chief Pilot's Office when status is in question Maintain required communication with maintenance and dispatch personnel when conducting flights Provide crew communication reports and crew incident reports to the Base Chief Pilot's office when required or requested Attend company training events to maintain currency Ensure passenger needs are met with regard to safety and comfort, and provide relevant informational updates to passengers as needed Adhere to the complete approved company uniform, company materials and flight kit as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM) Provide the Chief Pilot's Office with any information regarding the safety of flight Other duties as assigned Licences & Qualifications Licence: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the ability to obtain an ATP or Restricted ATP Medical: current FAA First Class Medical Federal Communications Commission (FCC) radio licence Valid passport, and authorisation to travel to any country served by Endeavor Air Requirements At least 21 years of age High school diploma or GED equivalent; a four-year college degree in aviation is preferred Legally authorised to work in the United States Able to read, write, fluently speak and understand English Able to work any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays Able to pass a comprehensive company, FAA and DOT pre-employment screening, criminal background check, drug test, motor vehicle driving record (MVR) check and PRIA records check Excellent interpersonal and cognitive skills What We Offer Pay: first-year hourly rate of $105.08; third-year Captain rate of $170.32 per hour Endeavor is the only regional carrier offering pilots a direct, contractual career path to Delta Air Lines Endeavor pilots enjoy the same commuter policy as Delta Air Lines pilots Company-sponsored ATP-CTP training with the airline's ATP training partner for well-qualified candidates who still need to complete certification Additional Information When to apply: applicants are encouraged to submit an application within one year of meeting the applicable total flight time and ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) minimum requirements. Applications submitted significantly earlier may not be considered qualified until the applicant is within one year of eligibility. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview or class placement. New York City residents only: the minimum pay is $105.08 per credit hour, with additional increases as listed in the collective bargaining agreement, to a current maximum of $120.87 per credit hour.
