Position Summary

Prestige Development Group is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Personal Assistant / Executive Support professional to support leadership for one of our clients in Shreveport, Louisiana.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys keeping a busy executive organized, managing changing priorities, and making sure important tasks do not fall through the cracks. The position will support both business and occasional personal responsibilities, including calendar management, email oversight, scheduling, follow-up, reminders, appointments, and coordination with clients, employees, vendors, and other business contacts.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, anticipating needs, communicating frequently, and taking ownership of responsibilities from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor multiple email inboxes, identifying urgent or important messages requiring attention.
  • Maintain and organize executive calendars, meetings, appointments, and commitments.
  • Provide proactive reminders regarding upcoming meetings, deadlines, appointments, and responsibilities.
  • Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate meetings with internal and external contacts.
  • Track assigned tasks and follow up until they are completed.
  • Provide clear and timely updates regarding the status of important projects and requests.
  • Handle occasional personal scheduling and administrative responsibilities, including appointments and service coordination.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, business partners, vendors, employees, and other contacts on behalf of leadership.
  • Coordinate priorities across multiple business interests as needed.
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts, missed deadlines, or unresolved tasks before they become problems.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive business and personal information.
  • Take ownership of new or unexpected requests and determine appropriate next steps with limited supervision.
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational projects as business needs evolve.
Qualifications Required
  • Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in personal assistance, executive support, administrative support, office management, or a similar role preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong initiative and consistent follow-through.
  • Confidence communicating directly with executives, clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take action without requiring detailed direction for every task.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to remain composed and productive during high-pressure or rapidly changing situations.
  • Strong sense of ownership and personal accountability.
  • Ability to work on-site in Shreveport, Louisiana.

A college degree is not required. Relevant experience, communication skills, organization, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly are the primary considerations for this position.

Preferred
  • Previous experience directly supporting a business owner, executive, or senior leader.
  • Experience working in a small business or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience communicating with B2B clients or business partners.
  • Experience managing multiple calendars, inboxes, appointments, and competing priorities.
  • Experience coordinating both professional and personal responsibilities for an executive.
  • Experience in a client-facing professional services, healthcare, sales, property management, logistics, insurance, or similar business environment.

What Success Looks Like

A successful candidate will become a trusted extension of the executive they support.

When a responsibility is assigned, leadership should feel confident that it has been captured, prioritized, and will be completed without repeated reminders. The individual will proactively communicate updates, identify potential issues early, stay ahead of upcoming commitments, and consistently close the loop.

The right person will enjoy creating structure in a busy environment and take pride in keeping people, meetings, priorities, and responsibilities moving forward.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position in Shreveport, Louisiana and requires regular in-person interaction with company leadership and other team members.

Leadership may occasionally send messages, reminders, or requests outside normal business hours as tasks come to mind. Employees are not expected to monitor or respond to non-urgent messages while off work. Requests should be reviewed and addressed during working hours unless otherwise arranged.

Compensation

Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit.

The position also offers the opportunity to grow in responsibility as the organization and its affiliated businesses continue to develop.
